Gabi and John are absolutely amazing! They hosted my private birthday celebration and exceeded every expectation. Gabi went above and beyond with every detail, making the entire planning process completely stress-free. I’ve never had anyone put so much thought, care, and organization into planning a birthday. The food was absolutely out of this world, and every little touch felt so personal; including beautifully printed menus customized just for my birthday. It was clear that every detail was thoughtfully planned to make the day special. The wine was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the hospitality was second to none. Thank you both for making my birthday so unforgettable. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect celebration!

We are thrilled to find the Pizano-DeLuca Vineyards. It's very welcoming and a feeling of great potential in the coming years. We plan to visit often, especially since it's within an hour of our home. The wines are refreshing and flavorful. After our tasting we stayed and had a bottle of Blanca, a Chardenal and Gamay blend which has a golden straw color, great aromatics and a smooth finish.

Each wine is…exquisite. From the first trail of the bouquet hitting your pallet, to the perfect mouth feel and quality of the finish. Mmm. I’m getting worked up just thinking about it. We walked away with one of each, a smile, a wonderful family experience. The sheep (and sheep dogs) were a delight for our three young ones. This couple is serving world class wine, humbly as can be, in an intimate setting. Classy, with out being pretentious. Don’t miss this in 2026!!!!

We had a great time at Pizano-DeLuca Family Vineyard! The vineyard is family-owned, and you can tell how much care and hard work have gone into creating such a special place. Gabi and Jon, the owners and winemakers, live on the property and were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable throughout our visit. We did a tasting that included a white, a rosé, and two reds. All of them were excellent, but the Nebbiolo was definitely my favorite. It was also really interesting to learn that they planted and harvest their own grapes right on the property. The tasting room is beautiful, the charcuterie board was delicious, and the service was outstanding. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy an afternoon with friends or family. One thing that makes this vineyard especially unique is how family-friendly it is. There are sheep that help naturally groom the property and vineyards, along with some very sweet dogs that love to greet visitors. It adds to the charm and makes the experience feel even more special. If you’re planning to visit with a larger group, I recommend reaching out ahead of time so they can accommodate your party and make sure you have the best experience possible. If you’re looking for great wine, friendly people, and a beautiful setting, I highly recommend checking out Pizano-DeLuca Family Vineyard. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I decided to try a new vineyard and from the moment we walked in it honestly felt just like home. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and just really inviting. Exactly the kind of place you didn’t know you needed until you’re actually there. They had light snacks out for us, crackers, a variety of ham and a nice spread of cheeses. Not just some snacks that every other vinery has but quality ones. Which is exactly what you’d want to sit back and enjoy with a good glass of wine. They have four wines and every single bottle was amazing. Not one miss. Gabi, the owner, came over personally to welcome us and that kind of warmth really sets the tone for the whole place. It is fairly new which honestly makes it even more impressive. I wish it had been around sooner so we could’ve enjoyed this sooner. If you’re looking for a date night, a little getaway from the kids (which we definitely needed) or just a place to enjoy some nice wine, I wouldn’t wait any longer. We will definitely be returning soon.

What an awesome experience. A rare find in the countryside on Lauel Creek Road off Hwy 115. About 12 miles from I-40 Statesville. Gabi, the wine maker and John, her husband are great host. All grapes are grown there, and wines made there. Beautiful sheep roaming keeping the vineyard groomed and beautiful. Closed Monday and Tuesday, large group need to make reservations. Can't wait to return to visit again.

Such a wonderful experience every time. From visiting the winery in person to ordering wine from home, this husband-and-wife team makes you feel so welcomed and taken care of. Their passion and knowledge really shine through in everything they do, and it’s clear how much love they pour into their wines and customer experience.
